The ancient and awe-inspiring landscape around Inish Turk Beg has seen the sun rise and set on a great many cultures; cultures from which our Irish whiskey now springs.
The hills of our landscape have rung to cries of joy around fires and a ceile; to loved ones taking to the sea in peril; to the sounds of muffled voices from bodies bent hard over potato drills which to this day have left their mark on the land; to the war-cries of Pirate Queen Granuaille as she plundered ship after ship in our Atlantic waters.
The drumlin islands of the bay sit like tranquil turtles, observing the comings and goings of time and tide, fair weather and gale, joy and sorrow, of pleasure and pain.
