Walstead Cartier
Walstead Cartier (2002) is a registered Connemara and an approved stallion in the Irish Sport Horse Register, with proven fertility. True to type, Cartier is a lovely, compact stallion of approximately 143cm, with exceptional length of rein, good sloping shoulder, and excellent bone. He has outstanding, eye-catching movement, remarked upon by all. His looks mark him out as one of the most handsome specimens breeding today, and he moves with an easy and kind temperament that is second-to-none.
Cartier was deliberately acquired from the well-known Walstead Stud, to ensure we have the best blood, and is a versatile pony who produces working/show-hunter types that will win in the show ring. Both dam and progeny of his sire are many times British champions; his sire has been for many years the UK’s top-rated stallion, Tiercel Top Cat.
