LOCATION

Sitting in Clew Bay, on the West Coast of Ireland, Inish Turk Beg is at the focal point of kinetic energy, drawn from the awe-inspiring surroundings, with spectacular views unfolding whichever way you turn your gaze.

From the south bears down Croagh Patrick – the most famous and holy of Ireland's mountains and host to the annual pilgrimage in honour of the country's patron saint – and to the north roll the verdant peaks of the Nephin Beg range. The mainland beckons from the east; the spires and twinkling lights of towns Newport and Westport. To the west, meanwhile, only the curvature of the Earth and the distant form of Clare Island interrupt the view across the Atlantic to America.
